The two institutions entered into an MOU 21st February 2023 agreeing to cooperate in all aspects of innovation, academic, guidance on societal relevance, industrial applicability and clinical expertise.
The C-CAMP Inter-Institutional Biomedical Programme is the first fruit of this interaction and is a pioneering effort in the Innovation and Entrepreneurship field in India

Sri Sri Prakashanantha Swamiji, MD of BGS Health and Education City, is recognized for his simplicity and passion for learning. He aims to revolutionize math activities by introducing a tech-friendly environment and computerized administrative affairs. He envisions expanding the good works carried out by his predecessor to benefit the global masses, shaping a cosmopolitan atmosphere in the institution. Swamiji has received numerous accolades, including the "Lifetime Achievement in Health and Humanity Service" award in 2014. He plans to establish medical, engineering, and art schools, advocate bio-friendly energy, and promote research in cancer treatment and Nano technology. His scientific background and traditional knowledge act as an advantage to combine technology and philosophy to bring a new progressive outlook towards life.

Dr. S. Chandrashekar Shetty chairs the advisory committee at Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Public Health. As Chief Sight First Technical Advisor for Lions Clubs International Foundation, he led the development of 100+ Eye Care projects in South India and Sri Lanka, worth 21 million USD. Former Vice-Chancellor of Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences.
Dr. M E Mohan
Dean cum Principal For BGS Global Institute of Medical Sciences
Dr. M E Mohan, former principal of Adichunchanagiri Institute of Medical Sciences and current principal and dean of BGS Global Institute of Medical Sciences, has over 35 years of experience in the field. Trained in cardiology at Jayadeva Institute of Cardiology and M.S Ramaiah Institute of Medical Science, he is known for his exceptional medical expertise and compassionate patient care. Dr. Mohan has dedicated his career to diagnosing and treating a wide range of medical conditions while providing personalized healthcare services to his patients. He has conducted free cleft lip-palate surgery camps and more than 800 general health camps in rural areas, earning him the Mother Teresa Gold Medal Award in 2013.

Dr. Ravikumar G.K, with a BE from Bangalore University, M.Tech from NITK Surathkal, and a Ph.D. from Dr. MGR Chennai, combines 17 years of software industry and teaching experience. His expertise includes Data Analytics, Big Data, Data Mining, and Data Masking, with notable contributions in Data Warehouse, Business Intelligence, Multimedia, and Databases through numerous publications in international and national journals/conferences.
Dr Raju Koneri
Director, BGSGIMS Research Institute
Dr Raju, Director of the Research Institute at BGS Global Institute of Medical Sciences in Bangalore, this individual has achieved a great deal. They have developed the Clinical Research division, completing over 50 clinical trials in just three years. Additionally, they have developed a Molecular Biology department and a Yoga and Cancer research unit. They are heavily involved in academic and research committees, including Vice Chairman of the RGUHS Silver Jubilee Pharmacy Scientific committee and the RGUHS Journal of Pharmaceutical Sciences Editor-in-Chief. Their research interests include preclinical drug discovery, pharmacogenomics, and yoga and cancer.

Akanksha graduated from the National Institute of Pharmaceutical Research and Education with an M.S. in Medical Devices. She finished her industrial project and internship in quality assurance for medical devices at Boston Scientific Pvt Ltd. She has worked as the COO of a startup called Iota Design & Innovations Lab Pvt Ltd., where she was responsible for commercializing diagnostic devices, determining product-market fit, and making pitches for new technologies.

Inter speciality Interaction is a process by which needs are identified by concerned caregivers and teams are formed with solution providers and ideators from among all participating institutions to arrive at possible innovative solutions.
An event where the aforementioned teams present their ideas and solutions to a group of experts for validation suggestions and judging regarding suitability for onward development and prizes.
Under the guidance of C-CAMP and its designated experts, the university will commence a programme of training in Medical and allied specialities and Engineering, STEM, and other specialities, to jointly ideate and develop innovative projects. The ideas generated in the Inter speciality Interaction will be encouraged through this programme through the various stages of the Benchtop model, Design Interaction, Design for Test, and even fund-raising opportunities. Team dynamics will be learnt experientially.
Education of STEM Professionals on Entrepreneurship by a Biomedical Innovations Certificate Course The course is designed to be held in 3 stages over a total of 6 months. Each stage will be conducted over 2 months, on weekends
An event whereby the product prototype is demonstrated and a pitch is made for the validation of taking this idea via an entrepreneurial route to the market. This will be vetted by judges from Yenepoya institutions, C-CAMP and invited experts.
