Biomedical innovation in India is rapidly growing, driven by a talented workforce, strong start-up ecosystem, and support through government initiatives like “Atma Nirbhar Bharat.” While India has made strides in affordable healthcare solutions and digital health technologies, challenges remain in fostering cross-specialty collaboration and translating research into market-ready products. The current education system's emphasis on rote learning limits the development of multidisciplinary teams crucial for complex biomedical solutions. Addressing these gaps through structured bio-entrepreneurship programs and incentivizing cross-disciplinary R&D can unlock India's potential to lead in cutting-edge biomedical innovation. With increased focus on cohesive collaboration and practical skill-building, India can transform its healthcare landscape and contribute globally to biomedical advancements.

Inter speciality Interaction is a process by which needs are identified by concerned caregivers and teams are formed with solution providers and ideators from among all participating institutions to arrive at possible innovative solutions.
An event where the aforementioned teams present their ideas and solutions to a group of experts for validation suggestions and judging regarding suitability for onward development and prizes.
Under the guidance of C-CAMP and its designated experts, the university will commence a programme of training in Medical and allied specialities and Engineering, STEM, and other specialities, to jointly ideate and develop innovative projects. The ideas generated in the Inter speciality Interaction will be encouraged through this programme through the various stages of the Benchtop model, Design Interaction, Design for Test, and even fund-raising opportunities. Team dynamics will be learnt experientially.
Education of STEM Professionals on Entrepreneurship by a Biomedical Innovations Certificate Course The course is designed to be held in 3 stages over a total of 6 months. Each stage will be conducted over 2 months, on weekends
An event whereby the product prototype is demonstrated and a pitch is made for the validation of taking this idea via an entrepreneurial route to the market. This will be vetted by judges from Yenepoya institutions, C-CAMP and invited experts.
